FAQ’s:

I successfully created my individual fundraising page, but cannot figure out how to create a Team fundraising page.  (It doesn’t appear in the pulldown)
Team fundraising pages and individual pages must be created separately.  You will need to go to http://www.active.com/donate/impactahero5k&section=create_fundraiser and click Create Fundraising Team.  This should then link in behind the scenes, but I will need to add your individual page to the teams since the Team was created second.
What are the registration costs?
Thru 5/15/2015: $30
Race day: $35
 
Where can I pick up my packet?
Our packet pickup locations and times are listed on the “5K Information” page
 
How do I create a fundraising page?
Please visit www.active.com/donate/impactahero5K and click on “Become A Fundraiser”
 
Can I create a fundraising page during the registration process?
Unfortunately users will not be able to create a personal or team fundraising page during the registration process this year. Please reference above question to create a page.  In order to improve users experience during the registration process we are using the new active works tool which is not linked to the fundraising portion.
 
Do participants need to have a race bib displayed during the race?
Yes, all participants on the course must have their race bib properly displayed.  This is for safety reasons in case an incident should occur.  We will have course monitors pulling people from the course with no bibs.
 
I registered online for one category but want to switch to another, is this possible?
Yes, this is possible prior to May 16 (race day). Please contact us at iah5K@impactahero.org or using the contact page
 
Do I need to bring my confirmation email with me to packet pick-up?
We do encourage you to bring your confirmation email (either printed or on a smart phone) to packet pick-up, especially if you register online the same day as you pick up your packet.
 
Are strollers allowed on the race course?
Yes, but people with strollers must start near the back of the non-competitive group for safety reasons so they do not interfere with competitive runners.
 
Do all team members need to register for the same category?
No, team members may register for the competitive or non competitive categories.  Separate teams are not required.
Where do I go for parking?
Parking will be in the “Yellow” lot, accessed from Main street.  Please refer to our detailed parking instructions on the 5K Information page.
